The Carousel

Built by Thomas Walker in 1886 our carousel is one of the oldest carousels travelling in the country to date. The Carousel ride has 30 galloping horses and 2 cars for the young and not so adventurous.

The traditional carousel is a great centre piece to any funfair with its bright lights and organ music.

Build up time of the carousel: 5 hours on level ground

Transportation of the Carousel: 1 lorry and 1 trailer

Helter Skelter

Built in 1932 by Orton and Spooner the funfair ride manufactures, our helter skelter stands 50 feet in height. The helter skelter is made of a wooden frame and is one of the last surviving wooden helter skelters, still touring the countries fairgrounds.

The helter skelter is unique as the slide goes round the out side of the helter skelter 2 & 1/2 times before it ends at the bottom of the helter skelter ride. This creates a gliding sensation opposed to a steep down ward slide that can be a little uncomfortable.

We have many fun fair stalls available to hire including:

Traditional darts games.

Hook a duck

Hook a duck a firm family favourite hook the lucky duck from our spinning table to win a prize.

Hoopla

Hoopla the classic ring and blocks game throw a ring over the block to win; we have various sizes of hoopla rings to change the skill levels.

Coconut shy

We have taken a new angle on the original coconut shy game we now use soft balls and real coconut shells to make the coconut shy a safer stall for young children and inside events.

Shooting Gallery

Our traditional style cork shooting gallery is a customer favorite shooting down the ducks, shooting down the tin men and Shooting down the sweets. Traditional style artwork on our shooting gallery adds colour to any event.

Fairground Foods

Candy Floss

Freshly made Candy floss on our traditional hand carts, we can supply candy floss on sticks or candy floss in bags. We can offer a range of different coloured candy floss to suit your event.

Popcorn

Freshly made Popcorn again served from our traditional hand carts. You can choose between sweet popcorn or savoury popcorn dependant on you taste. The popcorn is cooked fresh during the operating period this gives out a lovely smell of fresh warm popcorn. Mmmmmmm.

Toffee apples

We can supply a traditional barrow with as many or few Toffee apples. Alternatively we can supply chocolate apples there the same as toffee apples but dipped in chocolate. Yummy!
